Clare joined the board in 2019 and brings a wealth of experience working with women and girls.
Clare works as a social care commissioner at Gateshead Council where she designs and implements public services to improve access to health and care. Prior to that, Clare worked in research and the voluntary sector, and has a PhD in Sociology from Newcastle University.
Clare believes that the success of the Young Women’s Project is down to the strong principles held by the organisation and the staff’s unwavering belief in the power of young people.
