Julie brings a deep understanding of Gateshead’s communities, organisations, and families, and she leads on the operational delivery of our services, ensuring that an asset-based, trauma-informed approach underpins all areas of the charity’s work. Her strong local knowledge and collaborative approach help shape partnerships and create lasting impact.
Julie’s also involved in the general day-to-day running of the project, taking referrals and doing home visits. Importantly, she helps maintain the ethos of the project, from making rounds of hot chocolates to tidying up.
When she’s not making a cuppa for the masses, she swims or cycles most days for the happy hormones. Still a punk at heart, she particularly loves live music. She’s also an avid bookworm and her favourite thing to do is climb into bed with chocolate, wine, her knitting, and a talking book.
