Becca’s journey with the project began in 2017 when she first joined as a participant. After three years, she transitioned into the role of a peer researcher at YWP, where she gathered stories and offered support to other young women.
Over time, she advanced into her current position as a Youth Worker, facilitating group sessions as well as providing individual, one-to-one support.
Driven by her commitment to providing the best possible support to young women, Becca completed a degree in Community and Youth Work.
Away from work, her life took on a wonderful busyness after welcoming her daughter during her university years. While the restful post-graduation break she envisioned didn’t quite materialise, she cherishes every moment spent with her daughter, enjoys playing music and dancing with her family, and likes to unwind at the end of the day with a good series.
